Every year these lovely, nodding hellebore blooms amaze me.
First garage sale finds of the spring: vintage wooden-spool threads in vintage cups sit on an old bench in my garden . See the leaves of rhubarb behind the bench?

Nice to hear form you again. Jack does have a little Jacket that one of the girls sent him. She got it from an Amish thrift store.
I love finding old sewing thread too, what is up with that I wonder? I saw where one girl wraped bits of pretty homespun material around the spools. They looked real pretty in a bowl.
